Fire and Security Doors

Physical Security for Data Centers, Communications Rooms and Power Equipment

Physical security in critical environments is fundamental to their proper functioning. Physical barriers, separate entrances and access restrictions are essential in the management of critical facilities such as Data Processing Centers (DPC), Communications Rooms and Power Equipment Rooms.

In this context, main entrance and emergency exit doors play a crucial role in physical security. SURGE Ingeniería manufactures fire and security doors with non-combustible materials, generally made of steel. These doors are available in single or double-leaf hinged configurations and come with steel frames recessed into the wall. They can include safety glass peepholes and open outward from the facility to maximize security.

Additional Features

Mechanical or electromechanical panic bars for interior opening.

Self-closing mechanisms and access controls.

Electromagnetic locks.

Doors are built with reinforced steel structures and filled with thermal and acoustic insulating materials, offering fire resistance of up to one hour. They include special forms of interlocking between the leaf and frame, as well as intumescent tape gaskets to ensure an airtight seal that prevents the passage of gases and smoke. In CPD, a minimum entrance door span of 90 cm wide by 200 cm high is recommended.

SURGE Ingeniería provides fire and security doors that meet the highest quality and safety standards. These doors not only ensure the integrity of your critical facilities, but also offer fire protection, guaranteeing a safe and controlled environment.
